COMNAVFOR Korea
I left today for Japan, but had my camera out to record the whole journey. Since we met at Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Korea headquarters, I thought I'd share some photos from there first.
The sign says it all.
Every Navy building deserves an anchor. To keep the building from "getting underway."
Cherry blossoms, on the ground.
Cherry Tree look-a-like, or so I'm told, across the street.
Branch on that tree.
Someone important!
Rocks surrounding the flagpole.
Bosses' daughter, pointing out the Medal of Honor plaque on the flagpole.
And the flagpole itself. Pennant is the Navy Unit Commendation award if I'm not mistaken. If the Admiral was present his flag, a one-star pennat, would also be flying.
