Having spent our winter vacation north of the border, we decided to make it a two-fer and spend our summer vacation there, as well. Facilitating that is our proximity to Canada. We started by spending the weekend at Jay Peak with Alice and Gary.
No trip to Jay is complete without a ride up the Tram. Unfortunately the weather forecast was pretty grim for the weekend, but of the two days Saturday looked like there might be a brief parting of the clouds, so we gave it a go.

On a clear day you can see all these places!
I guess there is some unwritten rule that Gary isn't allowed to play golf on vacation. But Alice was the only one brave enough to head to the water park, so it was only logical that Gary and I head to the driving range for my 10-year lesson on hitting golf balls. In exchange I took a few "shots" of Gary's swing. In this direction it almost looks like a nice day, but believe me the Jay Cloud was looming right behind us at one point we were told to be ready for lightning.
